Becoming a human flesh eating monster was never this easy!

Zombies have come a long way in popular culture since the Night of the Living Dead, and now they’re present at every single Halloween party or comic book convention. They even have their own parades - nothing like a zombie herd to make you smile. The popularity of the Walking Dead TV series, its spin-offs and countless horror movies certainly contributes to the zombie's fame. And then there’s “Game of Thrones” with its super-fast White Walkers, whose leader, the Night King, looks and behaves very differently to the standard half-rotten, slow and mostly brainless undead creature. His shiny blue eyes are something quite beautiful and terrifying at the same time. That show with its fantastic characters has taken zombies to another level, greatly lifting them from the cheesy associations they had surrounding them in the past. No wonder so many people want to turn into one of them at least once in a while. Just every now and again.
The "living dead" look is often quite challenging due to the amount of makeup that is required. The rotting flesh that looks and moves like it's falling apart and exposing bits of skull or bones is very difficult to achieve, but possible with the help of a talented makeup artist or failing that some creativity and time. Realistically ragged clothes also require some amount of work. Fortunately, there is one element of your costume that can be applied quickly and easily: contact lenses! And it’s hard to imagine any zombie outfit without matching contacts. Eyes are the window to the soul after all and in this creepy case, it’s a dead soul.
Our zombie lens collection includes a huge number of options, so you can choose which type of evil undead creature you want to transform into. You could go for traditional white, or opt for something completely different, like bloody red or infected green. What’s nice is, this kind of creature is pretty versatile and can allow you to play a little with the theme. Apart from regular zombie contact lenses, you can try out slightly bigger 17mm sclera contacts that come in different designs, many of which suit zombie looks quite brilliantly. And then there are full eye sclera ones, that cover your entire eyes. With these contacts, a reaction of utter shock among your friends is pretty much guaranteed. And if you want to go for something funkier, choose UV Glow contacts in White or Electric Blue. Thanks to them, your zombie eyes will shine under UV light turning you into a groovy disco-zombie (Or am I thinking of PvZ?). Whatever you decide, your zombie costume will definitely be something to remember.
Among our zombie contact lenses you are able to find both zero power and prescription lenses, so if your eyesight isn't perfect and you require vision correction, you can plan for your costume not to feature a pair of glasses covering your laborious makeup. All you’ll have to get is a pair of zombie coloured contact lenses with corrective powers and your outfit won’t be ruined by any unnecessary accessories.
Because we are opticians, all of the contacts in our collection are medical devices and are meticulously selected from the worlds best manufacturers. So you can be sure that they are sterile, safe and comfortable. Also, they are made of FDA approved materials and not the sort of junk you usually find on the internet. If you would like to send us your script, we can verify it for you and ensure that your lenses match your prescription correctly.
If you have never used contact lenses before it is worth having an optician show you how to handle and care for them. However, if you are a bit rusty and just need a reminder, you can check out our pages on contact lens use and care as well as our article on colour contact lenses and makeup.
Remember to grab a bottle of solution on your way to the checkout - you are going to need it to clean and safely store your contacts when you’re not using them. If your eyes aren’t used to wearing contact lenses, also consider ordering some soothing eye drops to help you get used to the sensation. With a bit of practice and proper care, turning into a gory undead creature of the night will be quick and easy.
