Amazing red eyes, stunning looks guaranteed

Red eyes have always been associated with fiends, freaks and all kinds of monsters including vampires and creatures from the pit. This makes this group of coloured contact lenses not really suitable for everyday use, but perfect for Halloween and other special occasions. They constitute a fantastic addition and a final touch to a lot of cosplay creations and it’s hard to imagine a gory SFX makeup without them.
After putting on red contact lenses either prescription or plano, you will immediately change your appearance, becoming really scary or creepy, depending on which design you choose. And you can find plenty of interesting designs at our online shop. Some of them are inspired by famous film or book characters, while others provide a horrifying effect in a more abstract way. Some even cover your entire eyes!
All contacts in this collection feature various shades of red, from the plain and bright red of the Red Devil model to the more sophisticated designs such as Volturi and Vampire. We’ve also included some pink and violet lenses in here as they are of a similar tone. If you want to appear sick and tired or give yourself the look of an infected zombie, try Jigsaw or Bloodshot contacts as they have been designed to give your eyeballs a particularly diseased demeanour. You could go even further and try one of many models of 22mm sclera lenses, such as Contagion or Quasar, ideal for creating exactly that kind of impression. To brighten up your eyes with a fiery look, go for Wild Fire or Dragon Eye and if you’re a fan of manga and anime, try out Kakashi, Madara, Sasuke and Mangekyou - all covered with red and black patterns from the Naruto series. While on anime topic, Tokyo Ghoul fans will also be happy to note that Gremlin sclera lenses, besides being ideal for turning into Jigsaw from Saw horror movie franchise, are also perfect for cosplaying Kaneki Ken and other ghouls from this popular series.
As mentioned before, among our selection of red contacts you will find lenses with varying diameter sizes. We naturally offer the most popular standard-sized ones which have the same diameter as your regular corrective contacts. Some of them are available with prescription powers, so you can enjoy the crisp vision and a funky appearance at the same time. We also have slightly larger 17mm red lenses that create an amazing change to the eyes but they are only available in plano or zero prescription power. These kinds of red lenses not only give your eyes a bright red colour but also make them appear much larger and highly unusual. And last but not least, we also stock “full eye” 22mm red eye contacts, which create a totally insane look that completely covers the eye. An example of such contacts is a model called Cyclop - totally opaque (except for the pupil) plain red eye contacts covering your whole eyes. The effect they create on the eyes is absolutely horrifying. They are slightly more difficult to put in but no real challenge especially if you wear contact lenses regularly. We also have a great article on how to put in sclera lenses for more information. Regardless of which lens diameter you choose, you can be sure that the effect you achieve using them will be startling, to say the least.
Benefits of our red contact lenses:
Though they may seem scary, all of our red coloured contact lenses for cosplay are safe and comfortable, meeting the highest required quality and safety standards. Provided they’re properly maintained, most of them can be used for as long as a year, allowing you to look scary not just on Halloween, but on many other occasions as well. We have another great article as a reminder to those who may be out of practice on how to look after your contacts.
As mentioned previously, many of the lenses presented in this collection are available with prescription powers, so you don’t need to worry about spoiling your meticulously thought-out costume with a pair of spectacles. The powers available tend towards the most common so you can choose from a range between 0.0 and -6.0 in half diopter steps. Due to the fact that these lenses, despite their funky looks, are incredibly comfortable, you can wear them for many hours without any eye discomfort or irritation.
It’s important to remember that contact lenses should only be worn after a lens fitting has been performed and a contact lens prescription has been issued by a qualified optometrist. Even if your eyes are perfect and you don’t need any vision correction, you should get a prescription so you know the best lens parameters for your eyes. We don’t require you to upload your prescription while ordering but it’s best to have it at hand for reference. Also during the visit to your optician, they will inform you on proper lens care and contact lens safety. If you have forgotten already, we have articles on the topics surrounding the use of all kinds of contact lenses.
Obviously, as with all other contact lenses designed for repeated use, proper hygiene and maintenance are vital for eyes protection and comfort. While buying red lenses for Halloween or any other special event, make sure to get a bottle of good quality contact lens solution that comes with a case to keep the lenses in when you don’t use them. If you struggle with dry eyes, try some of our contact lens friendly moisturising eye drops. They bring instant relief to your eyes keeping the lenses nice and moist for longer.
Take a look around, you’ll most likely find a pair that will blow your mind!
