At Optyk Rozmus we take your privacy very seriously. We have drawn up these brief guidelines so that you know your information is secure and how it is being used. However, internet technologies are rapidly evolving so these guidelines are subject to change.

GDPR Compliant Personal Data Processing


  1. The administrator of the personal data (further called Data Administrator) provided through this website is Optyk Rozmus Eye Care S. C.
  2. Any personal data that the registering user inputs during registration and ordering process in the online store is processed in compliance with REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), further called GDPR.
  3. Submitting of the personal data is voluntary, but vital for the purchasing process via online store. Without providing data to the Data Administrator, the order will not be possible.

Information Clause

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).

Please be informed that:

  2. Your personal data will be processed in order to:
    • 2.1 perform activities before concluding a contract at the request of the data subject or in order to perform a contract to which the data subject is a party, pursuant to Article 6(1)(b);
    • 2.2 fulfill the legal obligation imposed on the Data Administrator pursuant to Article 6(1)(c);
    • 2.3 realize, based on a separate declaration of consent where the data subject has given consent to the processing of his or her personal data, one or more specific purposes, in accordance with Article 6(1)(a);
    • 2. 4 perform the contract, based on a separate declaration of consent where the data subject has given consent to the processing of his or her personal data of a special category (sensitive data), in accordance with Article 9(2)(a). The data will only be used for the purpose of fulfilling the contract and will not be disclosed;
  3. Your personal data will be made available to recipients of other categories (postal operators, couriers, carriers, companies handling correspondence received from and sent to customers, companies providing web services, accounting office, online payment service providers);
  4. The Data Administrator shall not transfer the personal data to a third country or to an international organization;
  5. Your personal data will be stored for the duration of the agreement and afterwards for the period of time provided for submitting a claim and until the tax obligations have been fulfilled;
  6. Personal data processed for the purpose of marketing and on the basis of a separate consent will be stored until the consent is withdrawn;
  7. You have the right of access to the content of your data, the right to rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing or to object to such processing as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time;
  8. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, i.e. the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection;
  9. The submission of personal data is voluntary but necessary for the achievement of the purpose (e.g. the performance of a contract). If the data are not provided, it will not be possible to achieve the purpose (e.g. to perform the contract).
  10. Your data will not be processed for the purpose of automated decision-making, e.g. profiling.

The use of your image

  1. By accepting this Privacy Policy you agree that any images that are:
    • voluntarily uploaded by you as part of a product review
    • voluntarily tagged by you with @optyk.rozmus tag on social media
    might be used on this website and on the Administrator's social media profiles.

Our site uses cookies to make shopping and ordering possible. We don't use them for anything else and the data we put in them is completely anonymous so you have no need to worry. To set your mind at rest, below are listed all the cookies that you may find on the Optyk Rozmus website and what we use it for.

ASPSESSIONID* : Server Session cookie - without which the site would not work. It just makes sure you get the page you clicked on rather than something random.

ORsic, GDPR*, Gref, ORCA, orRetEnc, ORRM : These are ours too. Without them we wouldn't be able to put anything in your shopping basket and most other important functions wouldn't work either.

mailerlite* : This one is part of the mailerlite email service and used to indicate that our subscribe popup has run.

_gat, _ga, _gid : These cookies are used by Google Analytics and allow us to analyse site usage anonymously. This in turn enables us to improve the site and generally make things better.

Privacy - 1: What We Do

We ask you to supply the following information during the ordering process: name, mailing address and delivery address, email address, telephone number and payment details.

We use this information for the following purposes:

  • to send you the product that you have purchased.
  • to charge you for the product.
  • to send an email order confirmation after you have purchased a product.
  • to let you know by email of changes in your order status.
  • to remind you of appointments
  • to send you a newsletter if you have subscribed to it
  • In addition we employ HTTP cookies:
    • to recognize users.
    • to track individual shopping carts through the ordering process.

2: What We Don't Do

We do not, under any circumstances, ever do any of the following:

  • we NEVER share the information we track on this site, in any form, with advertisers or other parties.
  • we NEVER release personal information about any individual visitors.
  • we NEVER store your payment details.
  • Upon request, we will remove you from the email update service.
  • Upon request, we will delete your personal information from our servers.
  • We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties (exception: point 3. of the GDPR Information Clause).

If you wish to stop receiving marketing e-mails and discounts from us, simply click the unsubscribe link in any marketing e-mails that you receive from us or e-mail with 'unsubscribe' in the subject field.
